Oh, what sort of plans did you have in mind if it weren’t walking the dog, Holly?

Still has a lot of puppy zip though for a “middle ager.”

No one walked him yesterday. They just opened the door and let him out. Just like politicians-plausible deniability!

The Joys of a Fenced-in Yard! I would just open the door, the dog would run out with great joy as I shut the door in the cat’s face….:-)

elven-eyes I take it that the cat stays in because he has claws for to climb. We had some stray cats in one of our back yards once, and I was very surprised to see they went up the side of a concrete wall, even the kittens.

Brrrr! That’s one reason why I don’t want a dog… I would be the one walking it in the freezing cold and rain.

We used to have a mini-toy poodle, when my family lived on a one-acre plot. In the wintertime, when there was two-plus feet of snow on the ground, we’d dig a walkway for him that went out about twenty feet, and a small area of turn-around room. That was his place for walking and everything else in the winter.

Unfortunately I’m of an age where I sympathize with the dog!
