    ^Yes, but likewise, most of what’s spent on “defense”, and the cost of “tax breaks” could do even more good if spent on infrastructure repairs, and at home in other areas than what “Boehner and the boys” want.

    Waaaay back in the nineties, Newt’s ‘Contract with America’ prominently included campaign financing reform. -When asked what happened to it after Republicans were elected to majorities, he just shrugged and said ‘It didn’t get any votes.’-Since Republicans always have a money advantage, they will always obstruct campaign reform.

    Citizens United — the Supreme Court’s worst mistake, it left “We the People” in a wasteland. The rich have more representation than the other 99% combined, all due to money and politics.

    Didn’t we invade Iraq over oil, I mean WMD’s. Couldn’t a case be made to invade the Cayman Islands over money, I mean WMD’s. I hear Switzerland has WMD’s too.
