Isn’t that the same reason Ron Paul runs as a republican? He really seems more of a Libertarian.

“And THIS time, the chair really IS empty…”-Not so sure about that ms. While the groups are small, they still exist within the Republican party, expecially women. The Log Cabin Republicans have been fighting for recognition and acceptance for years. Maybe the core will start to recognize their need of these diverse groups. If they don’t, the party will either experience a revolution, or wither away.

Actually it’s just the opposite. Howard Stern did a hilarious video where Obama supporters were interviewed and asked if they supported Obama’s position and Stern’s guy stated Obama’s position as pro life, anti stem cell and they all supported it.

The less capacity your brain has the more likely you are to believe that there are more rich people to lift you up when the government takes it away from them, as opposed to YOU lifting someone less fortunate.

For conservatives compassion begins with the heart, for liberals at gunpoint.

Though for the record, I think this cartoon is spot on and should be pasted on every wall in every RNC building.

The right has the rich white guy vote, the poor uneducated white guy vote, and the well trained wive vote of same. That’s it. They’ll continue to win those districts in congress, but they’ll continue to lose senate seats, and the white house. I sure hope they don’t change.

Apikoros: The Greens did rather well, considering a total corporate media blackout and three arrests of our presidential candidate (twice for attempting to attend public meetings, and once for bringing food and water to peaceful demonstrators). We securely made the ballot for next time in anti-access Texas. You are right about Republicans fading away, but it won’t be too long before they and Greens meet each other going opposite directions. After all, someone needs to be the second party.

“The Republicans need to drop the ahrd line gay marriage, immigration, and abortion issues to gain some headway.”

Yes, they ought to stop their grotesque vilification of other Americans and keep their Taliban hands off women.

The sad fact is that there were so many non-rich that still voted for Romney.

Conservatives are makers, Liberals are takers… R’s can live without L’s, L’s can’t live without R’s… someone has to work.
