It bought tons of votes, but the Republican candidate was crap and even the Republicans knew it.-Per their election eve predictions, they really believed they had enough money to overcome how dismal their candidates were — Todd Akin, Scott Brown, Mourdock, et al.

Yeah, Rove sure wasted a lot of money he was given.

There never was a “traditional” America. That’s one of the better things about this country. It changes—painfully at times—but in a good way.

Obama’s re-election was purchased by 1%ers. He will be serving them depsite the ‘re-distribution’ rhetoric.

That’s just Troll logic. You nuts outspent him by a big margin. And it still didn’t work. YOU LOST FOR A REASON: your message sucks.

I see a common theme in the reaction of Howie, Ima, JMCA, SR, etc. All of them ignore the truth. Republicans and their PACs outspent Democrats and our PACs, yet got fewer votes. The reason is obvious – they did an excellent job of getting the message to their base, but their base is much smaller. And try as they might, they just couldn’t refrain from denigrating minorities and women.

you want stupid? romneys run was done by m/billionaires, and they had the gall to ask for donations from middleclass shmucks. and got them, too. you repub fanboys are right in the crowd where you belong. shmucks.

Money buys EVERY election. That’s part of the problem with democracy in this country. Too much cash chasing too few votes.

Yup, some domestic corporations purposely withheld investing in the US and kept wages stagnant in the hopes to defeat the President. It failed.

Don’t like your sense of humor; getting tired of myopic cheap shots. If you have a problem with funding, thank the Supreme Court for approving mega PACs (which obama had plenty of money coming from). One sided humor like this helps inflame and divide a country at a time when we should be developing cohesion and cooperation; mostly, just in poor taste.
