Ramirez hits a new level of idiocy. Nice drawing, though. If Obama wins (I’m not predicting, so it’s a conditional) there’s going to be an interesting fight inside the Republican party. This should have been a pretty easy election for the Republicans, but they seem to have decided to run a completely inconsistent bozo instead of an ideologically demented bozo. They didn’t even consider the possibility of an intelligent principled conservative. I can easily see the ideologically demented wing of the party, which is not small, saying “if only we had run a total wing-nut, we would have won.” Fun ahead.
The red ink is mostly because the GOP insisted on prolonging the un-paid-for Bush tax cuts, or they’d let the economy die. Even their pretend umbrage that defense will get cuts under their sequester idea is false — they could easily have avoided it by letting taxes go up, even a tiny amount, to get a deal. The GOP has only one idea, and it’s MORE RED INK.
Great comic, Ramirez. The Democrats had more control of Congress than anytime back to WW II, and couldn’t change. Why, the national debt climbed over 50% in 4 years, and continues to the tune of $4B / day. Economy remains drowning in gov. red ink — and we don’t want the Pres’ to continue on his failed path.

Sorry, I see nothing funny about Ramirez’ level of stupidity. Playing to the ignorant, like Mitt, is not good for America.
