Remember folks, Mitt thinks it’s immoral for the federal government to assist states in need. CC and the other Govs are on their own in a Romney presidency.

Of course, if Obama didn’t give Christie the support he did, then the righties would be criticizing him for not giving bi-partisan support to a Republican Governor, or taking the votes of a mostly blue state for granted.

MItt “saved” Salt Lake City, and the Olympics, with a mere $1.3 BILLION in taxpayer dollars, from the feds. MItt’s “fraud” of donating the canned goods, is typical of his career, campaign and “giving”.

While many modern plutocrats DO work on building foundations, and doing good works with SOME of their profits, like Bill Gates, Soros, Buffett, and others, there IS a component, like neocons, that don’t, or “stack the deck”. Mitt contributing what his church demands, TO THE CHURCH, IS NOT the same as many others.

Remember also, Carnegie, Rockefeller (J.D.) and others of their era, built to cleanse their “image”, with blood money.

Love the ‘toon though, Christie WAS being sincere in his concern for his people, and the efforts of FEMA under an administration, that ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY’RE DOING!!

it was so good and refreshing to see them work Together! No animosity, just “lets take care of these people!” I feel more proud of them both.

In high school, 50 years ago, a good friend was nicknamed “bubbles”, because he was the closest to obese we had in a school of 1,300 kids. Just looked at a picture of him in my old yearbook. Today, he would be considered, “average”, to slightly overweight. Guess what, we WALKED to school, we WALKED to the store, we rode bikes. Yes, when we got those precious drivers licenses, our world expanded and we could buy that 24 cent a gallon gas and go long distances, but we did NOT burn gas to go three blocks to the store, and leave the car to idle in the parking lot, or driveway for an hour.

Yes, gas WAS only 24 cents a gallon, but our cars our folks would let us buy only cost $100 !!!!

Neither our bodies, nor our economy, were as bloated as today.
