I don’t have this problem, We live in a hundred year old building. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

At least the price of heating oil wasn’t as bad then!

I suspect menopause rather than global warming.

This sooo fits this situation: A pregnant woman in the winter and her husband.

My husband prefers our house cooler than I do so I just put on an extra sweater and curl up underneath my electric blanket when I need to instead.

Sweaters for the cool! Thermostat lowering for the warm! You’ll save money too.

This would not stop me. I would just bypass the thermostat. I have wire strippers and I know how to use them.

I try to keep it at 68 degrees, but hubby is always turning it down just before he leaves for work in the morning. I have to remember to check it every morning when I get up so I don’t forget at night. I don’t want the pipes to freeze down in the crawl space. That’s one $$$$$$$$ headache I don’t want to deal with.
