More like Obameleon, Obameleon will say whatever it takes to get you to vote for him even if it’s a bunch of lies..Let’s take a look at Romney’s unchanging campaign positions, shall we?Taxes, Teachers, Insuring Preexisting Conditions, and moreGovernment’s roll in economy, Deficit spending, Government regulations, housing foreclosures, and more
Churchillwaswright asked in another cartoon, What candidate hasn’t changed the way they campaign to appeal to the most voters in the final days of a campaign. That said, there is much more video tape of Mr. Romney’s changes in policy than there is of Obama. From guns, to women’s rights, coal, etc., Mr. Romney’s supporters cannot say with any certainty that he will actually be the person they think he will. Neither can I. It’s one of the things that make me hopeful in the event he wins.I just hope the Democrats don’t use the same tactics of obstructionism with a Republican President as Obama faced. Red state Dems are more likely to break with their party than any of the Republicans have, and the Republicans like Lugar and Snow who did, are gone.Respectfully,C.
Romney’s recent bounce in the polls is due to many low-information voters seeing him in the debates. They don’t realize that this isn’t the guy who campaigned for the last 6 years. Or that 17 of his advisors are Bush/Cheney neocons.
I wouldn’t want his Karma, and it is harder to keep Mitt’s identity straight, than Boy George’s. I also find Mitt’s “Culture Club” to be a little too exclusive to expect him to embrace the 47%, or anyone outside that 1%.
“No—let’s keep looking at Obama and how he has raped America.”Of course you wouldn’t want to watch video evidence of Romney’s ever changing positions. We’re aware you have no interest in facts. Your trolling is completely dependent on ignoring Romney’s faults to concentrate on slamming Obama with what ever misquotes, half truths, and out right lies you can manage.
I have heard Obama go into much more detail on what he wanted to accomplish than I have from Romney. Over the last four years I hung on every word Obama said. As I’ve said many times, he has disappointed me but I have no other option when trying to protect the nine issues I value. I also cringed when Pelosi and Reid were so arrogant to the Republicans in 2009 and have said so, I’m sure someone has seen where I’ve posted that disappointment. I cringed again when McConnall said the goal of his party was to make Obama a one term president and saw the threat of filibuster used a record number of times to stop debate. As both parties continued to try and attach negotiated legislation to bills for their cronies, the lobbyists who donate the most, your statement seems a bit hollow. As far as your use of the word rape goes…At a televised dog show, one of the narrators constantly referred to one of the female dogs as a bitch. The word was accurately used, but after a score of uses the other announcer said, I know it’s a female dog, but most people really dislike the word."Perhaps you are using the word with a literary accuracy you feel appropriate to your perception of damage done to our nation. You have no conception of the violence that word brings into the mind or a person who has experienced or had a loved one or good friend been so treated. It slaps victims in the face and inflicts pain without need.Especially when the word is being used so extremely. You think Obama’s policies have hurt America. I think our non bipartisan Executive and Legislative branches have hurt America. If you want to see countries where your definition is more appropriate, it isn’t hard. The third world is full of them. But we are better than that. Or we should be.Respectfully,C.
