Some of you missed the implied reason for the tv being left off, and her not being invisible any more. She did something that made the news and doesn’t want her father to find out about it!

the HD monitor i’m using used to be my TV. now i watch what i want. have yet to see/hear a tv political ad. this election. dont look like i’ve missed anything, either.
