Oh no! An Oregonian comic strip artist has revealed the deeply buried secret about native Web-foots! That Web-foots LOVE the rain! (lol!)That makes the others, looking at Wally like he’s a lunatic, NOT native Web-foots! Not even little Luci! She must have really been born in California. (That’s a slam, btw…lol)

Apparently everyone forgot that Wally’s an optimist (this is his version of Pollyanna’s ‘glad game’). Frankly, as an Oregon newspaper deliverer, I find staying inside when it’s blowsy outside truly appealing!

Cozy? Yes, as long as the heat doesn’t go out and the roof doesn’t leak!

Wally is the only one who knows how to be happy.

By the end of the storm it won’t be cozy any more!! I can see it going down already!

Last year my GF lost power for a week, so with Sandy on its way I’m doing all my laundry and the dishes while I can.

How do you ‘mess around’ with seven other people in the house and four of them are children?

With the rain, wind and the leaves falling, it’s good feeling to be inside and cozy,It would be even cozier with a fireplace, which I don’t have :(

So what’s the joke? And why are they all in the same house?

We always have and had others over to our house for the Hurricane sleepover. The adults stay up playing cards etc and the kids slept all over the livingroom. Our house was always the grand central station from kids in the backyard on the swingset etc. to adults drinking coffee and playing cards even without a hurricane

1. People in the path of Sandy need to be stocking up on canned goods, water, non-perishables, etc.

2. Wally is about to discover the consequences of a big mouth. Just ask Holly.

3. What Oregon calls “rain,” we in Louisiana call “drizzle.”

At least someone likes the weather.

Love the Rain. Might just go for a walk in it today.

Any day above ground, can be cozy!

If it’s gonna be that cozy, I’m sure Wally wouldn’t mind watching Lifetime instead of football!

@dkendrafNever really was one for Pollyanna. Was more of a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea man. My best goes out to those in the hurricane area.

I love rain, thunderstorms, summer! Sandy is going to land pretty much over MY HOUSE Monday night, I guess we’ll wait and see how it all plays out. As prepared as possible I hope!

I (too) LOVE the Rain…!!I’d rather be cold/miserable (sometimes) than hot/sweaty/sticky/grimy/smelly/tired/miserable, so 1.5 out of 7 ain’t bad…
