Wildmustang1262 - you keep calling Joey a “brown nose” - what exactly do you think that term means? If you mean the traditional use of the phrase brown noser….then Joey is anything but that.

I see what Wild Mustang1262 is getting at. Somehow the boss seems to think that Joey is the best thing since sliced bread. Joey must be doing some sort of brown nosing to get the boss to feel that way about him.

OPCgnat, “brown nose” means that the person is very lazy and does nothing to do at work. Just sit on the chair and do nothing. Joey kept looking for lame excuses at work and do nothing. I thought you know what it meant but I thought not! Sheesh!
