Actually, it’s not too uncommon these days. Farm animals are raised in such high concentrations that they only affordable way to get rid of their waste is to spray it on crops. Oddly enough, the misting method for disposing of animal waste tends to cause the occasional problem, such as e-coli contamination, effluent trespass onto nearby properties (for example, a sheen of s*** on farmers’ laundry), water pollution, massive fish kills, etc., etc. C’est la vie – there’s money to be made.
