I think it’s the teacher’s fault for not giving the ones who finish early something else to do. I see this all the time. The smart ones getting in trouble while they wait for the others to finish.

In all my “borned days” I think Galvin just might be about the funniest-looking “cartoon” character I’ve seen since the great Elzie (sic?) Segar “Thimble Theatre” strip that gave Popeye to the world………..or, maybe Gravel Gertie (Dick Tracy, as originally done by Chester Gould) did look a ‘lil funnier!! Dunno……maybe I’ll never really be sure on this one.So…..who looks all-out funniest in “Big Nate”?
