My step father recently did something like that with his paypal account and password. And when I first got a PC waaaaay back when I was about 19 I did that not knowing any better.
If I get a message about a problem with my bank account, I just call the bank, and besides, not even my husband knows my passwords so why should I give them to anyone else.
I’m surprised Rita even realizes she has a problem. A bit unexpected, it’s nice to see her coming to her senses. Uncharacteristic of her, but still nice.
Umm… why not just use one of those blocking programs so that she can only access a handful of sites? She probably won’t go much off of those sites so she probably won’t catch on until she tries to be the victim of one of these scams. ;-)
@burleigh2 Because with Rita nothing is idiot proof. If I was still programming and wanted to see if a program was idiot proof I would let Rita try it first.
Can I get Rita’s email address? I have nice land to sell her. Glow in the dark so she doesn’t have to worry about electricity bill. A quaint little place called Chernobyl.
If John & Scott didn’t NEED Rita to provide Stupid Management in this comic, I’d REALLY advocate they get RID of her – before she totally destroys MMM!

It’s a good thing Rita vocalized her “problem”.
