Least they’re not greeting him with “Hey, Arnold!”.
Anyways, her family wasn’t exactly making her life better. She should stay on and just visit her family. They got grow up someday on their own.

They should move her out of the house at home. Give Alix her own room. Move the cop in. When she decides to grow up and come home She can move into the geriatric high-rise on the outskirts of town.

It looks like they are using Loge blocks for building.

She needs to decide where she can do the most good. Weigh the pros and cons of each. I’d vote for staying in Thailand especially with a brewing romance.

I think she’s blushing. Go Evie!! Do it for all of us:>D

I think also this is nice Evie (grandma) is away from the family, doing what she likes, and having a life without questions. Family at home is miserable without her. Val has to learn to cope raising her girls on her own.

Yes, and we can see that Jan (not the colorist) put on the blush, because it is grey, not pink. I moved away from family and friends in the midwest for the weather; but 2 of my 4 kids had already moved to other states for work.

Joe, I think people shorten your name only because it’s long. Evie met Arnold last year some time when she did another stint for Habitat. I think it’s great that she has enough energy to be building concrete block walls. I work out, but that would be very tiring.

This’ns personal… my wife and I, retired, are volunteers in Portugal, and only she went home to the grandchildren’s for Christmas (you know what the dollar’s worth against the Euro these days?), so I got to hear the “but we want you in your bathrobe, not in spirit” comments. Even without Arnold (since my grandchildren’s gramma’s husband is still alive and with her, except for right now) (yes, me), Evie’s had to make a hard choice, because the grandkids will never be that age again. If you’re not there for Christmas this year, well, this year isn’t coming back. I’ve missed the past two, and it’s hard, even if you know you’re doing the right thing.

Joe-Allen “Joe” Doty, I wasn’t talking about his age but that he isn’t new in the series and has been Evie’s boyfriend before. Won’t shorten your name again, sorry about that, but why so irritated? Yelling doesn’t become you… (caps lock and bold face constitues yelling if you didn’t know that).
hildigunnurr Premium Member over 14 years ago
yes and a lot of names are shortened here without ppl flying off the handles about that.

She doesn’t need a reason to stay, Anne, she needs advice on how to tell the fam!
