the wonders of “post-literate” new age, neo colonialism, bled by “big is bad” free traders and small is beautiful eco
royalist values.
this must be a former director of the chamber maids of commerce, “come in & loot- we charge taxpayers to clean up, after you looted our republic”…
i doan miss newspapers, and this is no way to communicate either! the battery only stays warm for a few minutes….not like noosepapers defining WHAT to think,
rather than HOW to think….
good one Ted!
It’s like a short book about the day’s news, er, it’s like yesterday’s internet news on trees. Screw it; I tried.
Jim, after reading your post I think no dialogue would be quite an improvement; let the viewer think for a moment; the visual point stands on its own after all.
HUMAN – Well said. Also I miss when the major networks had news shows that contained news, and went into detail, now 20/20, CBS Reports, NBC, all go for rateings.
It seems that the most important demograpic group are those who think Michael Jackson was a god, Elvis is still alive, what celebrites do is important, and that aliens travel across billions of miles of space so that they can stick sometime up our ass.
Okay folks learn to adapt. Do keep in mind that when information is either shared via holograms or connected right through the skull a la Matrix, then people will long for the lap tops and the Iphones and the past–which is our present; so chill.
People, this cartoon isn’t about newspapers! It’s about how, despite all the “marvelous” advances in technology, a homeless guy is still sleeping on a park bench.
I interpreted Ken’s «sometime» not as an orthographical error for «»something, but as a brilliant reference to the space-time continuum. Am I going to have to correct myself ?…

Hmm, with the battery power, at least it will stay warmer than a paper.

Very Funny, if your newspaper is like mine it is about 20% smaller then it use to be, so it wouldn’t provide much comfort.

This person is a criminal! The law, in it’s majesty, forbids both the poor and the wealthy from sleeping on park benches!

sirrom567, the homeless guy made his own choices in his life. One of those choices may be that he wants to be homeless.
