Oddly enough, I’m still looking for the apology Obama supposedly issued. It’s not the thing Romney spoke against. That was an embassy staffer and not an apology.

Not wishing to harp on the facts, but no one apologized. A statement was made in advance to try to cool things down. It has lately come to light that this appears to be a coordinated effort instead of a protest that got out of hand. Some people who have other information should share it with the appropriate authorities or get themselves on a flight over there to “put up or shut up.”

If it’s not a police problem, then what is it? An excuse to invade?

Interesting how Romney isn’t held responsible for his comments.

http://news.investors.comarticle dated 9/13/12 “Libya and Egypt: Obama’s Jimmy Carter Moment”….prints one page.-Obama, like Carter before him, who threw Iran’s Shah under the bus, has thrown Mubarek and Qadaffi both under the bus, and now is stunned to find out that Obama helped empower radicals who attack US embassies and consulates and kill Americans.-according to a Ben Shapiro article, 9/13/12, “Report: Hillary Ignored Warnings”…the Independent.co.uk has reported details about the Libyan attack that “are so explosive that they will result in a Congressional investigation. …they should result in the resignation of Sec.State Hillary Clinton.”—“the US State Dept. had credible information 48 hours before the mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted…nontheless, no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and ‘lockdown’…” (IMO, no security was alerted or beefed up for possible 9/11 attacks)-When will the Obama administration be held accountable???

the Cairo embassy staff apologized TWICE.Sec.State Hillary Clinton apologized, TWICE. President Obama and Sec.State Clinton and press sec’y Carney keep harping on the False Alibi/Excuse that the Muslims are only upset over a “film” (that almost NO ONE has ever seen) and ignoring Mideast Intelligence that these were planned attacks by Jihadists to mark the anniversary of their biggest success, 9/11/01.-Our Libyan Ambassador and the 3 staffers, ex-Seal, ex-USN, were in the place they were assigned to be representing the USA to the new Libyan government. They were not “in the wrong place”! It was the responsibility of the President and Sec.State to provide security and weapons of defense and enough guards to keep our property and people safe. All land and buildings used in foreign lands for consulates or embassies are in international law, the same as our homeland and attacks against them are “acts of war” by foreigners.

Why would I pay attention to a person who doesn’t know the difference between a noun and an adjective?

In 1986 a discothèque in Berlin was bombed, 2 American service men were killed and 79 were injured. In 1988 the Pan Am flight 103 was brought down by an explosion over Lockerbie, Scotland, killing 270 people- including 189 Americans.Because of President Obama’s policies, the man responsible for these attacks against American citizens and interests- Mummar Qaddafi- is now dead.Do the conservatives remember who was president when these attacks took place, or when TWA Flight 847 was hijacked by Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad in 1985 and an American sailor was beaten to death?A US President, no matter who he is or what party he belongs to, has very little control over events that happen on foreign soil. Only blind political opportunists would blame the president under these circumstances.

@Canuck…yes, 3 days later and however many other nations, it is still about using the 11th anniversary of 9/11/01 killing of 3,000 innocent victims in the USA to kick off a “Jihad” using mobs of brainwashed fanatics to cover hard-core terrorists carrying out whatever evil missions they have been planning! In Benghazi, while the “mob” (with RPGs and weapons—??)was damaging property and killing 4 American victims, certain persons found and took classified lists of names of Libyans who were helping the US mission to transition to a “democracy” after Qadaffi’s overthrow.Ask the Israelis about Arab/Muslim/Terrorists using anniversaries and mobs to carry out long-term Jihads, to do as much damage and murder as they can.

One of the main reasons the Iranian hostage crisis dragged on was that Carter refused to issue an apology to Iran — so today he’d be a hero in GOP eyes.

TJDestry…the point is, the USA apology, or the USA refusal of an apology, is irrelevant.Terrorists have an agenda, and words from the targets have no effect on that agenda.IMO it is a Myth that candidate Reagan in 1980 “made a deal” with Iran’s dictators. The holding of our hostages for 444 days was for Iranian purposes, and so was the release when Reagan moved into the Oval Office. Iran has been the #1 source of global Terrorism since 1979, and no diplomatic word can alter their agenda. The activist Muslims are in a long-term effort to terrorize their way into a “final war” to RE-establish the Ottoman Caliphate. -Bible believers know the only power to stop the Islamic Crusade is the physical return of Messiah Jesus Christ to Jerusalem, and His destruction of the enemies of Israel at Armageddon.
