    Dubai has transformed from a desert village into a modern city in less than 30 years… whats happening now is the inevitable overheating of the economy… and the oil running out… but the Emiratis there have done alot more with their petroldollars than most thirdworld oil jackpot spenders… at least they arent spending it on bombs

    The whole point of Dubai’s massive building projects was to create a tourist destination so the country can still make money after the oil runs out. Guess they didn’t have a contingency plan for when the global economy is in the toilet.
