Mom: Hi, Sophie. How's you Mama doing these days? Sophie: Not too well, actually, Mrs. Merriwether. My Granny's sick, and Mom's her primary caretaker. She's feeling sooo overwhelmed. Mom: Surely your Mom's siblings are helping to carry the load! Sophie: Well, no. Uncle Albert is in a cult, my Uncle Archie is too busy "finding himself" to help, and Aunt Sally keeps 17 cats. It all falls on Mom. Mom: Tsk, tsk. She's learning a hard lesson, honey. Sophie: What's that? Mom: Sanity...has its drawbacks.
