And police unions will ensure that the bad cops don’t get punished or fired.

Yet again, in back-to-back incidents, the unarmed African American who is being pulled over for a minor traffic infraction ends up dead (yes, he had a legal firearm in his car, not on his person, and yes, he lives in an open carry state that does not require permits for concealed carry, or does the Second Amendment not apply to blacks), and a white, heavily-armed mass murderer, fresh off his mass carnage, still heavily armed, taken in alive. They continued shooting Walker long after he was dead.

Compare the difference in how police responded to BLACK, UNARMED citizens doing nothing wrong or very minor infractions and WHITE, HEAVILY-ARMED violent thugs who had just committed mass murders:

Black UNARMED adult George Floyd had a bad $20 bill (non-violent crime). Fully restrained. Murdered in cold blood.

Black UNARMED adult Breonna Taylor, asleep in her apartment, in her home (non-violent). Shot eight times and killed when plain-clothed cops broke in unannounced with a no-knock warrant at the wrong house, for a person already in police custody.

Black UNARMED adult Rayshard Brooks, asleep in his car (not driving). Is shot IN THE BACK while running away after pointing a NON-LETHAL Taser.

Black UNARMED adult Philando Castile, shot and killed during a non-violent traffic stop while reaching into the glove compartment to comply with request for his vehicle registration.

Black UNARMED PricewaterhouseCoopers accountant Botham Jean, shot and killed by off-duty Dallas police officer Amber Guyger while sitting peacefully in his own apartment, watching TV and eating ice cream.

Black UNARMED adult Charles Kinsey was a behavioral therapist SHOT in Florida by Officer Jonathan Aledda while lying on the ground with his hands up begging the police not to shoot his autistic patient, but he survived.

There are ways to handle minor traffic infractions without escalating to violence and without high-speed chases caused by the terror Black drivers fear from police.

Maybe it’s the POLICE that need access to mental health providers.

I’m generally pro-police, with a large measure of high expectations and no sugar coating. The good and bad news of smart phone cameras, body cameras and internet is we are sometimes better informed.

The Aryan Brotherhood has moved from the shadows to Police Departments.

And, like in most – but not all – of the other cases, if the deceased had not run and obeyed the cop he’d be alive. With the recent days of police being ambushed in KY and TX I understand why the cops here were a bit tense after this man shot at them. If you think you can do a better job your local police dept is hiring.

The kid had an altercation the day BEFORE so he’s not an innocent..he also shot at police, then ran…but on the other hand, the cops over reacted. Big time!

Cleveland AKRON, Ohio — The police killing of Jayland Walker in Akron last week has drawn comparisons to the seminal 2012 police chase in Cleveland where 13 officers fired 137 gunshots and killed an unarmed couple.

In both instances, police officers, reporting a gunshot from a car, chased it at high speeds through city streets until multiple officers fired dozens of bullets into the bodies of unarmed Black motorists in a parking lot. Outside agencies launched investigations, and protesters swarmed their cities.

They were shot at, as sad as this is and yes walker left his gun in the car, what do you think would happen. Eight officers with staggard magazines.

And yet the Highland Park shooter was taken in peacefully.

They all wanted some paid administrative leave.

The sad thing is all 8 cops wanted to be the one to kill him. They should be ashamed of themselves, but they won’t be.

As many have noted, and actual murderous white guy was taken alive and treated well upon his arrest. The white guys parents have already hired a high profile legal team. Another idiot punk suffering from affluenza. Parents always helped him get away with his violence. Have to wonder if they had a hand in making sure his violent actions in the past were not on records that might have flagged him for gun purchase background checks. I don’t know if that’s the case. Perhaps, it’s just because he’s white and didn’t have enough police interaction to be flagged?

As for the FBI, they have so many of these wack jobs to watch, they are not going to be able to catch them all. A lot of those they keep from happening don’t make the news. That’s the crazy thing, the fact that there are so many of these nuts that it will be impossible to stop them all, unless a certain GOP faction in our country changes their ways, and acceptance of violence to get what they want.

The obvious irony is the white guy who killed 7 people in Illinois with a high-powered assault-style rifle was taken alive by police.

The black guy who took one shot, and didn’t hit anybody. was shot 60 times by police.

…………….giving everyone the right to conceal carry must be very reassuring to the fuzz. Instant alibi.

I do wonder if he was looking to commit suicide. He had a gun in the back seat and lost his fiance recently. The wedding ring was on the seat. May have been very despondent
