She has both sworn to obey her husband/Master in all things AND under oath has said she would consider Roe v Wade to be the law of the land and would not roll it back. Either she’s a liar or … hmm. She’s a liar.

While most of the rest of the world continues to move forward into the future, the United States is rushing backwards into the past!!

I support the right to choose, but am afraid this is a real bad time for this distraction from so many other things. Of course it does spotlight how dysfunctional the Supreme Court and Senate are.

Get used to it. She could be s Supreme Court Justice for the next 40 years. Barring an act of God, of course.

Does her husband get to sit next to her on the Bench? He might as well.

I am all for job creation and workers returning from furlough/layoff, but Doctor Coathanger should have been permanently retired, not reinstated with such perceived joy.

Just another example of Qpublicans supporting ideologies that are TOTALLY against their own best interests simply because they have been TOLD TO by their corporate and Reich-wingnut media masters!!!

All of these people crying about the ruling seem to miss the point that it doesn’t actually outlaw abortion. It just sends to issue back to the states to decide. But then they wouldn’t have all the fun of being in a blind panic.

I’m still a bit puzzled by the two bumper stickers I saw side-by-side on a vehicle the other day; “All Life Matters” next to “Proud Member of the NRA.” Seemed a bit odd to me. . . .

I’ve posted my favorite quotation about conservatives… or shall I write the patriarchal & hierarchal party… on today’s Nick Anderson’s comic.

What they Turd Reich trolls aren’t seeing, or don’t want you to see (which of the two is more dangerous? But both is scary as hell) is that the underlying principle of the leaked opinion is that nothing after the first draft of the constitution is safe from this sort of challenge. Take a few minutes (days for you troll morons and fools) to think about that.

    No Bill of Rights.

No amendments (no matter which number – for all y’all trolls that includes the number “2”) are safe.

If this becomes precedent then y’all just went back to the 18th century and everything that isn’t white, male, and rich is royally screwed. And that really is the abortion to be outlawed now, isn’t it? It’s what they have wanted for over 40 years. And they’re thhiiiisss close to getting it. Y’all aren’t good at seeing the big picture here. There’s a forest in those trees, folks. And it’s very dark and very dangerous. And there’s nobody steppin’ up to save y’all from the Big Bad Wolf. Hell, y’all think that wolf is either a lib or some POC walkin’ down the street and y’all think that locking your car doors is gonna save your sorry butts. Oh are y’all in for a surprise…

Trump and McConnell almost single handedly have done this to our rights and our democracy. The remaining question is what other partisan, draconian measures are yet to come, as their legacy. Not lookin’ good…

The only good about all of this is that the Turd Reich trolls are proving what despicable hateful fascists they really are. And doing it so well that they leave no doubt about it. Saved us all a lot of time and effort. Nice going!

I did not!!! And I don’t want a return to female servitude to male power-tripping.

The latest: you know how Roberts in Shelby declared that race-related official acts were a thing of the past (not), now Justice Alito has declared that policies that discriminate against women have ceased to exist. So letting states ban abortion is not in any way discriminatory against women, ipso facto.
