Where was the outcry when Shirley Temple became a Black?
It has nothing to do with race, it has to do with integrity and honesty.
I wish I understood all this obsession about skin color. As far as I can see, it’s an evolutionary adaptation to varying levels of sunlight, nothing more. For heavens sake, people, the human race originated in Africa, so we’re all African-whatevers.
It’s a man-bites-dog story. Whites generally don’t “pass” as blacks.
