Our state just passed 72% fully vaccinated. This county just passed 55% (surprised the heck out of me to find it that high when I looked it up!). I’m still masking whenever I’m inside or crowded outside. It’s nice that Spouse bought a half dozen good masks that don’t fog my glasses… much.

I don’t get it considering we’re told we should get a third vaccine shot 6-8 months after the second one.

Bingo. I hate that I’m in a red county in a blue state. It needs to at least be much more purple.

Just read an article on how in Denmark they’ve pretty much got the virus contained, even the variant. What a difference between a functioning society over there and the U.S.

Oklahoma’s ERs are overflowing with Ivermectin ODs. Maybe they should ask Rand Paul if he wants to pretend he’s a doctor and treat some of them as he is so fond of horse paste.

Booster?!? Some states cannot get their people to get the first vaccination! The Red States were slow learners and now they are paying a horrible price.

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/02/health/us-coronavirus-thursday/index.html

Tennessee, which reported the country’s worst Covid-19 cases rate, had the sixth-best rate of new vaccinations per capita in the US over the past week. Roughly 42.1% of residents are fully vaccinated.

    https://www.mayoclinic.org/coronavirus-covid-19/vaccine-tracker

Florida is the only bright spot among the Red States.

WHAT is on the GOPs agenda so dire and with no reasoning for sending teachers and kids back to school to be exposed to life threatening situations, with no masks? Some no vaccine? I DONT GET IT. It’s like they want people to die, kids, teachers, families! They’re ruthless, with no compassion, no souls, no brains……all for politics…..UNTILL someone in their family dies from covid, it will continue…they’re like the American version of the Taliban Terrorists!

Thanks to the anti-vaxxers and lack of world distribution of vaccines yet another variant is threatening the world.

I was ambivalent about the antivaxxers, because they are pretty much MAGA idiots, but now people with very treatable medical issues are dying because they can’t get a bed due to the MAGA idiots sucking up the resources.

Back in the Victorian era women could purchase pills with live tapeworm eggs for weight reduction. They say it was a great way to get a slender waist and a husband. Great way back then to have a slender wife who’d drag her butt on the floor like the family dog. I’d rather have had a horse with heartworms. . . . ./S

Most vaccines require a booster. Some are annual, like the flu shot, others you don’t have to do more than once every 10 years like Tetanus. Yellow Fever is every 7 years. As it is, different vaccines, for different viruses are going to have different needs. Duh!

As Covid19 is new, it only makes sense that the time frame of needing a booster will change, as the data comes in. It’s not a big deal, and will get my next shot/jab when it’s time to do so.
