You will note that many Democrats have demanded that he resign, unlike how so many republicans defended Trump’s right to sexually harass women, and even attacked the women who accused him.

He is still claiming that it was all a misunderstanding. Though I do expect he WILL eventually get out of the way.

Virtually all Democrats, including the president of the United States and all members of the House and Senate from New York, are calling for the resignation of Andrew Cuomo, and I join them in calling for him to step down. Democrats have a higher standard and we need to live up to it.

Cuomo’s video clips showing him kissing and hugging men and women of all ages is a red herring. I imagine he had many completely innocent interactions. But that is like a serial killer who murders 60 people pointing to all his friends that he DIDN’T kill.

In any case, Gov Cuomo has only a short time left in office. If he refuses to recognize reality and resign, the votes are most certainly there to impeach him. He would be replaced by Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul, whose views on policy are more liberal than Cuomo’s and whose style is as conciliatory and consensus-building as Cuomo’s is abrasive and confrontational.

Yes, we need to hold our own accountable, but it also pisses me off that we hold our own accountable while the other side gets away with far, far worse. Yes, we need to set an example, and yes, we need to live up to our values. But I am sick and tired of it being so one sided and Republicans are never held accountable or face real consequences.

I am sick of the double standard in which Democrats — who do NOT campaign on “family values — hold our own accountable and remove them from office, while accused pedophiles like Matt Gaetz, or Gym Jordan who covered up for sex abusers or Donald Trump who has been credibly accused of not only sexual harassment, but also sexual assault including rape, by at least twenty-six women who have been willing to come forward.Yes, Andrew Cuomo should resign.

But HOW DARE any Republican who is not calling for the resignations of Gaetz and Jordan, or for the condemnation of Donald Trump, say one damn word about any of the Democrats who at least are not HYPOCRITES like the “family values” Republicans are.

Democrats end their careers by doing this. Republicans can commit adultery, harass to their hearts’ content, and sexually assault trafficked children with no consequences. Which one is the Party of morality and family values?

The Republican Party Of Trump HATES accountability of any kind.

Congratulations, Clay Bennet, on being one of the few political cartoonists who actually has a right to criticize Cuomo’s behavior because you criticize the same behavior and worse by Republican politicians.

Carry on being a good example of how not to be a complete and total hypocrite.

What Coumo did was rape. When someone abuses their position of authority to encourage or solicit sexual behavior of any kind, it is rape. It doesn’t matter if you’re a minister, a teacher, a military Drill Sergeant, a CEO of a Fortune 500, the Mayor of New York City or the President of the United States. Yeah, I’m talking to YOU Bill Clinton!

And, it goes without saying, Donald Trump, Matt Gaetz and so on and on and on.

Lousy governor and a lousy person. Not even his a-hole brother running interference for him at the Cuomo Cover Network is going to save him now – even if more than 15 people start watching his clown act on CNN. And how does a dog face like Cuomo get the impression he’s God’s gift to women, anyway? If I had his face, which looks like a well-used catchers mitt, I don’t think I’d act like him, but of course I have some morals and decency along with a very healthy respect for women. Scrotum face Cuomo has none of those things.

Here’s how it will go: He’ll be publicly defiant but at some point he’ll be negotiating his resignation. He’ll go away if the all potential charges against him for harassment go away AND the promise of no charges brought against him for the nursing home scandal. Those go away and he goes away. The dem establishment will say the right things but allow this guy to resign with a stay-out-of-jail card. That way, in a few years, he can resume his political career and the usual suspects will fawn all over him like they did until very recently.

As you so clearly stated, the RepubliQins” hypocrisy is out in the open for all to see. Now matter how hard they try to “Tucker Carlson” the truth, the truth will always be there for all to witness.

Wow, micro Willie outdid himself in hypocrisy. That’s what I call really working overtime and yet volunteering at the same time, especially when his job was to make himself look completely two-faced and a real doofus. And nobody even had to lift a finger to help him. Although of course most of us would have readily and even gladly offered him a finger.

Mission Accomplished! Attaboy, doofus.

It’s not a Republican or Democratic issue. It’s about abuse of power. That’s one sure thing bipartisan deal.
