Who knew that the guy with the scythe was republican?
I was talking to my great uncle today and he was saying how people where refusing to say if they where vaccinated or not and I’m said how my vaccine card is like gold to me. It’s the most valuable thing I have. And not only do I get free krispe kreme donuts but I also feel safe going outside and going to friends houses.
I see by your name and avatar that you also follow Fox Trot.
How is it a vaccine?
CNN had a video on 7/24 of a guy in a hospital bed being interviewed by the attending doctor who was releasing him after being in the ICU for COVID. The cult is more brainwashed than I thought could happen…Jim Jones style. It went something like this:
Dr.: Now that you are going home will you be getting the vaccine?
Dr.: Why not?
Idiot: Because they are trying to force it down our throats.
Idiot: To make it part of their agenda.
Dr.: What agenda?
Idiot: To force the vaccine down our throats.
It’s appropriate that the spray paint is red.
Ooh! Nicely done, sir!
Living in fear of both Covid AND its vaccines is NOT a sound concept of freedom.
We tried to make them feel responsible, but it didn’t work. We tried guilt, shame, rewards, nothing worked. Let them feel sick enough to die, maybe then they will see the light.
As GOP supporters die of Covid, the party remains split in its vaccination message
It’s not clear yet whether the mixed messaging, coming against the backdrop of a surge of infections in the U.S., will have an effect on next year’s midterm elections or a possible Trump bid for the presidency in 2024. But some Republicans are befuddled by loud anti-vaccine voices drowning out the credit Trump wants to take for having pushed development of coronavirus countermeasures through Operation Warp Speed.
He’s increasing his evil flock….
I feel sorry for all those MAGA voters getting sick. If there was only something they could do.
I believe this is Tucker Carlson in his favorite costume.
Obviously COVID is a Liberal plot as only Republicans are catching it.
I can explain it for you; I can’t understand it for you …
A true republican is invincible and to even to consider getting vaccinated is a sign of weakness. Doubt not, like testing for witches in days of old.. this COVID thing is weeding out the republicans in name only.. and good riddance to them. Long live the king.
“Mr.” Bennett shows that he is a republican loving, trump sycophant here.
Actually, according to the news (not Fox), the majority of unvaccinated people are traditional democrat voting blocks. Black, Hispanic and young voters. According to Smart News, hardly a conservative rag.
I am pretty conservative and I am vaccinated, as are most of the people I know.
But if we look at the vaccinations, why aren’t children 12 and under, who are not qualified for the vaccine, not giving everyone covid-19? They can be carriers just as much as Aryan Brotherhood goons.Even if the British doctor retracted his earlier comments about 60% being vaccinated to being unvaccinated, that still means some 40% of vaccinated people are in hospital for the disease.
I don’t remember any kids getting polio after the Salk or Sabin vaccines. I don’t recall anyone with the scar on their arm getting smallpox, either. Nor did any of our force get yellow fever after being vaccinated when we went to an area rife with it.
It seems the efficacy of the vaccine is questionable. I hope mine was better than average.
^ Flagged Hawg’s post for the false assertion that “the majority of unvaccinated people are traditional democrat voting blocks.” That is absolutely not true, and he’s apparently spreading the disinformation picked up on some other right-wing site. Sounds like he thinks he means well, but his post is full of misleading and false information.
Here’s a link from Forbes (a “conservative” site):
An ABC Poll has shown that 86% of Democrats have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine shot, vs. only 45% of Republicans. Further, 6% of Democrats said they would probably decline the vaccine, 47% of Republicans said they would either probably or definitely not be inoculated.
And BTW, children under 12 are being infected by the adults who refuse vaccination. And COVID has a target-rich Petri-dish environment to develop mutations among the unvaccinated that might defeat all our vaccines.
He’s comparing apples and oranges when talking about other vaccines. BTW, why is it ok that so-called “conservatives”, for stupid political reasons, in states like TN have outlawed both outreach and school attendance requirements for ALL vaccines, including Polio?
Terry Pratchett’s Death was a stickler for procedure. He relied on his timers.
If the perception that Republicans are by majority Anti-Vaxxers is true, the forthcoming elections may be very easily won by the Democrats.
I still think the way to influence some of the anti-vaxxers is through insurance. If someone engages in unreasonable behavior (and there are some people that have good, medical reasons to turn down the vaccine) that costs more money than they have to repay, they will turn to insurance to make good the cost. I see nothing wrong with the health insurance companies trying to recover their loss by making a claim against the unreasonably risky person. Most of these people will have to turn to their personal liability insurance to cover the cost. Most people have this insurance as part of their homeowner’s insurance. This will cause them to either loose the insurance, or pay more for it. If they loose the homeowner’s insurance, well, good luck with a mortgage.
Even Fox is beginning to realize that they are killing off their viewing audience with lies about covid.
