Print and use millions please.
I wish. But most of the folks who catch it (probably delta variant) will live. And too many of them will go to a hospital where they’ll overuse resources, continue to burn out our medical professionals and generally wreak havoc by making it harder for all the rest of us to get the medical care we need.
Ehh, at least I didn’t go out like the sheep.
I got the vaccine, the card and my free krispe kreme donut. I’m set
KE, Says baaa.
Another cartoon that Trump Disciples will have trouble understanding.
Each person gets to make the choice……get the vaccine and protect public health……or don’t get the vaccine and say “SCREW YOU, I DON’T CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU”!!!!!!!!
This is a tragedy for so many families. No matter how many articles I send, my Mississippi, college town living son and daughter-in-law, they refuse to be vaccinated. “Not really a problem here.” They do not even respond now. Cannot do anymore… feel both infuriated and devastated.
Let’s make a simple change. If you refuse to get vaccinated your insurance won’t cover a penny of COVID costs
No matter the size of the hammer,
You can’t pound sense into a dummy!
Wish it were that straight forward. I am rapidly losing patience with those who simply refuse. If they didn’t harm others along the way, I would just about say, “Let them kill themselves off.”
They say that 99% of all new cases involve unvaccinated people, what a shame.
They will need a bunch of those toe-tags delivered to Florida and southwest Missouri.
Interesting business model the Republicans have. I think they are the first party whose platform encourages the death of its own members?
Another strip it’s hard to “like” but with a strong message.
There is a bit of comedy here, but also real sadness, too. At the present time, almost all Covid deaths are from the unvaccinated. And many of them, I know a few, still think the vaccine has not been proven, yet, like 150 million vaccinated isn’t enough.
Outstanding, Mr. Bennett!
Darwin at work – let ’em die.
I’m 70 and was recently hospitalized with Covid. Had I not been vaccinated there’s a good chance I wouldn’t be here now.
They.. (Good Christians) had a better system in days of old where lepers would be branded. Perhaps a movement the evangelists among us could reinstate with the anti vaxxers.
I find myself a bit ambivalent on this since it appears to be centered on the Big Lie supporters.
Can’t bruise a marshmallow …
Could allowing thousands of illegal immigrants into the country willy nilly and busing them all over the country have anything to do with Covid spikes?…..just a thought
In Congress, Republicans who once praised the Trump administration for its work facilitating the swift development of the vaccines now wage campaigns of vaccine misinformation, sowing doubts about safety and effectiveness from the Capitol.
And this week, Republican state lawmakers in Tennessee successfully pressured health officials to stop outreach to children for all vaccines. The guidance prohibits sending reminders about the second dose of a Covid vaccine to adolescents who had received one shot and communicating about routine inoculations, like the flu shot.
If they would just think about it. Why don’t we have any Smallpox in the world today? Why don’t we hear about people getting polio any more? Why is there very little measles, chicken pox and mumps any more?? …. the list goes on. We could rid the world of this Covid too, IF everyone would get vaccinated.
Part of the problem is that some families are too embarrassed to say that their loved one died from Covid-19. So in their obituary they’ll say that they died of natural causes. So when certain people see that the obituary’s are full of “natural causes” deaths, they lost out on a hint about the seriousness of Covid-19.
What worries me is the coming of autumn. I believe there will be a resurgence in the fall and all the small gains we’ve made will be erased, restrictions reinstated, and many thousands more will die. What’s sad is the dead (for the most part) won’t be victims – they’ll be volunteers.
Once again, in my county, cases are on the rise, and most of them are people who were not vaccinated. What is it going to take for people to see the danger they put themselves—and everyone else—in by refusing to be vaccinated?
In the US, at some point, certain states will achieve greater and greater percentage of COVID immunization, while others will not.
It would be interesting, would it not, for a reciprocal agreement with other countries – for example, Canada – to allow non-essential people (i.e. tourists) to cross borders – provided they live in those certain states/provinces?
Then folks in – let’s call them the Klan states – would be mightily outraged – even though they are not the types to leave their counties, and they – would finally – grudgingly – get vaccinated.
Considering again Canada, some 20% of Canadians are hesitant about getting the jab. So this reciprocal agreement would benefit them as well.https://globalnews.ca/news/7960345/covid-canada-vaccine-hesitancy-poll/
No special tattoo/card/whatever needed – just show your driver’s license – or a utility bill – to establish your residency.
(We’re all in this together).
BTW, Sadie tells me that someone has suggested using the CDC Immunization card for voter registration/identification.
Trenchant and true.
Just make sure it’s the Right Toe. They rise up as Zombies if you accidentally tag a Left Toe.
