Plants not able to compete in U.S economy because of poor marketing decisions and outmoded technology: check. Auto worker unions broken by management/legislation and unable to afford any protection to members: check. No money available to retrain workers to new careers: check. Yep, them danged illegals, women libbers, snow-flake liberals, and environmentalists are to blame for them losing their job and only Donny Boy is standing up for their rights so they’ll continue to support him.

Spend a trillion dollars on INTFRASTRUCTUORE What we need is a trickle up economy: The suppliers go to work the contractors go to work, workers have money to spend ect. Our bridges ,roads and other things are in terrible shape

I just drove through Lordstown. It’s very sad to see that massive plant sitting empty.

First the Farmers and the Steel workers … and now the automotive workers are joining the rest of America in feeling the crunch brought on by The “great deal artist” who considers himself a Genius,… stable genius that is ….who started this " easy to win " trade War. Who knew being president could be so difficult??? Snurk snurks snurk

Don’t forget the Carrier Plant employees. HUGE tax break and they still lost their jobs.

I do not wish this fate on anyone – even the Trump Cultists, though they may deserve it…but they just continue to blame Obama (& Hillary) for their electoral ignorance. Even a stupendous reversal of dominance in 2020 will require years (or decades) to right the nation and begin to heal the economy, the ecology and the international position of the US, so damaged by the Republican extremists. I weep for all those whose lives of labor and pain have been devalued to insufficiency and insignificance by Trump and his sycophants, for their own temporary, self-serving benefit. Even in the best circumstances, many/most of us won’t live long enough to recover what has been stolen. May there be a special place reserved for the Trum-publi-cult, here or in any afterlife !
