Still too many “baggers” out there demanding dissent, secession, and other stupidities. It ain’t resolved so long as idiots still can be accepted unchallenged by reality.

Well if it was soooo bad why didnt your man GW get rid of it? You know the phrase since 1995 includes 8 years of a Republican White House right? Oh wait I forgot all you right wingers have blocked those years from your memory and anyone who brings them up is unAmerican…

The Republican party is at a crossroads. Either they can lurch further right (because Mr. Romney wasn’t conservative enough), or the Tea Party/Religious Right wing will splinter into its own party. If the former happens, the party will devolve into meaninglessness. If the latter happens, which I think more likely, it will be interesting to see which of their leaders move to which party. And where will Grover Norquist hold sway?

I think there may have been 3 people who attached tea bags to their hats, and they may have looked a little funny, but haven’t we been told not to make fun of people? Further, don’t we know better than to lump a group of people in with a few on their fringes (although this “fringe” with teabags was pretty harmless)? I mean, a few people with what you think is a funny-looking costume, does NOT mean everybody in the group is a nut! I’m talking about bigotry here. You on the left can’t rebut the philosophy of traditional conservatives, so you try to gen up hatred based on 3 people with funny-looking costumes.

If you’re really interested in funny-looking costumes, search youtube with the words “keynesian president” (hint: it’s not related to “Kenya”).

There could be nothing better for America than the GOP continuing to cater to these extremist groups. They will fade away into obscurity and the democratic ideals of the democratic party will prevail. That is the very best thing that could happen. Go right, young republicans, go right. Right off the political map.

Well Romney actually brought in the gun bans that they accuse Obama of threatening, but hey, we should believe that Romeny is the friend of the gun owner, after all, he shot a bunny.

What really gets me about the “far right” is, they don’t realize they’re already to the right of the SS!

There were considerably more people with tea bags attached to their hats than there are New Black Panthers. I still remember the guy who bought a whole truckload of tea bags and dumped it at the White House “to protest waste.” Though they don’t all wear stupid hats, it remains a very useful symbol in political cartooning for those who irrationally hate government, yet want it to dictate morals to women, minorities, and everyone who doesn’t think like them, and by the way, keep government out of Medicare.

It’s “Fox” News Canuck. Obviously you don’t know what goes on over there, nor anything else for that matter.

More Republicans were elected to Washington than Democrats. Think about it.

I favor the coalition-style government seen in other countries. I would welcome a new party that attracted Moderates away from the extremist Democrats and extremist Republicans. Already, Colorado is one-third Independents. Other states are headed in that direction. There is a way for them to get representation in the Senate based on percentage of registered voters. It could happen at the time Puerto Rico is admitted to the Union as the 51 state.
