^ I was also curious about Israeli POVs, left & right and no surprise, confusion & fear reigns amongst them, too, with much good information and terrible misinformation in equal measure. But it is a real eye opener to read what they have to say.
Folks are learning far more about Egypt in the last few days than many do actually visiting the country as tourists. Interesting what fear makes one do. Trouble is, a lot of what they’re learning come from tabloid headlines. :p
For some reason, GoComics didn’t run two of Bennett’s cartoons this week. One was on the snowstorm, but his first cartoon of this week, a piece on the protests in Egypt that was published on February 1st, was truly inspired. Here’s a link:
The righties here will call me naive because they just can’t trust a muslim, but maybe not being oppressed by dictators will make them less angry about Israel and the West.
