Radio communication is going to be a problem here.

It’s my turn to state the obvious today.

I drove a radio dispatched taxi in the ’80s. We had a driver named Roger.

The names are all call signs for letters of the alphabet. Alpha=A Bravo=B Juliet=J Oscar=O Charlie, Romeo, Victor, and Mike (= etc. C, R, V, M) The class is going to be confused as to whether he’s using a call sign, or addressing them.

If an airplane’s designated call sign is VA7B82C, the radio call would be to: Victor Alpha seven Bravo eight two Charlie.

    OK shytimes2?
