The NRA supporting sport shooting and hunters, I get that. What I don’t get is their stand against reasonable registration of weapons, a license that can be revoked for mental health or criminal behavior reasons, developing smart technology that can be retrofitted (our cell phones have it now), and controlling ammo sales. I can’t drive without a license and my car must be registered and insured, yet it was designed to transport people, not to be a lethal weapon. There’s got to be some common ground somewhere…
