This is where I want to crawl back in bed, cover up my head and hope Trump was nothing but a bad dream. Or nightmare to be explicit.

Makes me think of postive outcomes in the near future; like William Henry Harrison?

Greedy Trump the liar will run this county like a third world family owned dictatorship.

It would actually be a more honest way of governing — above the table for a change.

Just for fun, the justice department could team up with the IRS to check expenses and incomes and look for any “gifts” to legislators as bribes. You don’t need specific votes, just the payments.

    .

Maybe President Trump would use selective prosecution, but any removal of corruption should yield improvements (especially since the bribers tend to cross party lines — Trump admitted that HE always did) and he might even go after a few Republicans — probably those who acknowledged he would be a bad choice.

Somebody else try to explain reality to this lunatic. I am so done with this guy, and his mindless repetition of the same fake news over and over again, no matter how many times it has been refuted. It actually seems to believe the crap it spews, and this latest version is a classic Both Sides deflection, completely ignoring the subject of this toon.

Zuhlamon, I can only do so much.

ChevJames007, “Pay for play” goes back much further/farther than the Clintons. You can see it openly in action with Andrew Jackson’s “to the victor go the spoils”.

    .

Ulysses S. Grant’s administration had it at lower levels; I don’t think anyone accuses President Grant himself.

    .

Tammany Hall of New York City endured for nearly two centuries, formed in 1789 and Chicago’s Mayor Richard Joseph Daley used government power for their own enrichment and further empowerment.

    .

Teapot Dome actually had the Administration actually using national guard troops to murder prospectors to enrich “supporters”.

    .

Pay for play goes back a very long way, involves all parties, just whoever is in power. The Clintons just did it better and yet less obviously.
