Cathy: I overdressed. Woman: I underdressed. Charlene: "Festive casual" should be banned as a holiday party dress code. Cathy: There were 35,000 acres of black velvet gowns at the mall. Where are we supposed to wear them if not to a holiday party?? Woman: I wore my new black velvet gown back to the mall to buy this "festive casual" sweatsuit. Charlene: I could have looked elegant in five minutes. Instead, I spent a week assembling this. Cathy: I could have dressed down my dress-up dress with funky boots, but it would have cost another $150! Woman: I tried to dress up my sweats by wearing $35 glimmery eyeshadow. Charlene: My "sassy blend of day and evening wear" makes me feel like a clearance rack. Cathy: I don't care because I have attitude! Woman: And I have attitude! Charlene: And I have something even better..three back-up outfits in the trunk of my car! The Holiday Magazine.
