Cathy: I've been staring at this free-lance job for five hours. I won't let myself get up and do the laundry becuase it seems unprofessional. I won't let myself pay bills write letters, call friends, exercise or do errands because even in a home office it feels wrong to do personal things on office time. I won't even let myself start other jobs because this was due first! I'll sit here for a year if I have to! I will not abandon my post!! The greater the work ethic, the larger the pile of things that never get done.
I think her perspective is wrong. Doing laundry or something could help her think
