Just take a deep breath and do it. You will feel better for it.
Think “today is the beginning of the rest of my life”, not backwards!
The best part of starting is that the mark you have to beat is zero.
Today is the last day of your life so far, put it off until tomorrow.
Yesterday was back to ballet day…18 months of no classes…aching back and foot, but I did it.
Coulda, shoulda, woulda … Better late than never, if you ask me.
The problem is, a year ago, none of us would have expected this to have a year to go.
Like she ever exercised before the pandemic
I went back to my gym at the end of last week. I have received both doses of the vaccine (Pfizer) and thought, “Now’s the time to go back” I’m still using a virtual trainer twice a month, and will still be doing YouTube workouts on occasion. But I am looking forward to a late spring/early summer when most of us have been vaccinated and we can start to move on. Covid may remain part of the atmosphere (like the common cold, seasonal flu, measles, etc.) for the foreseeable future and we would have to get yearly or biyearly booster shots (which I’m OK with). Then again, a few years down the road, we could find a vaccine that increases T-Cell immunity against the virus and its variants. That was how we wiped out Smallpox (the only infectious virus to be eradicated), I’m no medical expert, but I can’t see why we can’t also wipe out Covid19 as well.
Start with an empty toilet paper roll. Work up to twenty reps three times a day for a week. Move up to a full toilet paper roll …
Today’s workout has been canceled due to the fact people are breaking my rule of “you better stay 50 feet away from me if you sneeze boi”
