Applicable before Covid isolation.
Very creative and so true! I have to make myself think about my achievements, yet my struggles are so easy to remember.
Triumphs are easier to see by natural light. Don’t go “candle crazy”.
how long is your isolation Cathy?
I try to focus on the good stuff in life, as much as I can. It ain’t always easy—especially during these COVID times—but it goes a long way in the long run.
I prefer to focus on the good news. That the number of new cases and deaths from Covid continue to trend downward in all 50 states (and DC). And that vaccination rates are continuing to pick up nationwide. So, my hope is strong that we can continue to see the new cases/death rates continue to head downward while the number of vaccinated Americans rises and that we will reach herd immunity by the third quarter (July through Sept.) of this year. Yes, the variants from the UK, South Africa, etc. pose a problem, but experts insist the more Americans get vaccinated, the earlier we can build up a resistance to these variants. Also, the best way to prevent future variants is to give the virus less opportunity to replicate (either inside people’s bodies or in the atmosphere in general). So, even after I’ve been vaccinated (hopefully by May or June), I will keep masking up until I hear the all-clear from the CDC. This too shall pass.
