This is what I like about Lemont: A quintessential nerd. Boogers one day and advanced physics the next!

I think we’ll never bump into an alien intelligence cause the extremely long distances in space and time but , undoubtely , we are not alone in the universe

Darrin, I signed up to receive e-mail notices when you had your Editorial cartoons available but haven’t received any yet. Have you not started them yet?

First broadcast signals were from the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Aliens will see those first. And people wonder why they have not made any official visits.

Once you’ve seen a formulaic sitcom, you go looking elsewhere for intelligence. Just ask Splorg!

Actually, there are several civilizations within that 100 LY radius sphere, who have received our radio/TV transmissions—and they’re all hiding from us!

Our Radio Bubble is 200 Light Years across and any recognizable coherence in the signals was swamped by the universe’s Background Noise before it got even One Light Year away.

The Splorg will Never see “I Love Lucy” unless they buy the DVDs from Amazon because Amazon will deliver Anywhere as soon as they get their Interstellar Drone Fleet up and running.

The only aliens that will respond to our radio signals will be hipster aliens. All the other aliens will have moved on from radio a long time ago.

Um, Darrin, that would be a 50-l.y. bubble, if you mean getting a response to our radio emissions—and that assumes instant response to our first signals.

Wouldn’t those signals be audio only from telegraph and radio? And from the late 1800’s onward?
