    Point well made, as usual, he didn’t have a chance to show or tell what he would have done in life, just like so many.

    A related point worth noting is that many who would speak or show don’t get a chance because we cut them off with our own dreams and nightmares, thinking we are so much more important than anything they might have to say. Just as Lemont did.

    Don’t we all think we are important? But with the dead they can never speak again nor can we ever find out what we are missing by their passing beyond them as a family member.

    I’m intrigued with speculating about who Lemont is addressing in the last panel. Is it metaphysical, is it his creator (Darrin) or is it some undefined presence to which (or whom) he can express his objection?
