a very moving series. so sorry for your loss.
DO NOT press Bluckwells link-it’s the OPPOSITE of this comic’s theme ; a touching farewell to a beloved family member who lived his life well. Shameless self promotion.
A very moving tribute to your grandfather Darrin. He got to see the world and watch it change so much. It seems to make our best pale in comparison.
You really should read the comic before you make a dumb comment and insert your plug pal.
Again one Hell of a man, we need more like him in this poor world.
I read Darrin’s “good by” article in today’s Raleigh news and Observer. Had to put it down a couple of times to brush the tears from my eyes. His grandfather is someone who should be praised every day because of the values he instilled in Darrin and others.
He also mentioned the passing in Rudy Park. http://www.gocomics.com/rudypark/2013/05/06
I appreciate Mr. Bell’s tributes to those who have departed— the Katrina non-survivor who gave the boat ride to his wife, Michael Jackson, and now his grandfather. He let’s the person go out with the last word— a real privilege for them!
Sometimes up before 9? AM?I share your pain, brother.(Hey, creative types are often night-owls).
..I really like this arc…
I’m a geriatrician…I specialize in the care of older adults. I REALLY like this arc. Well done!
