So he knows patience is a virtue, he just disregards it.

Ah the good ol days of playing outside. These days everyones is starting at theirs smartyphones. Peoples becames such phoneys nowadays. Okay byes now. It time to puts down me phone and goes outside for walk in the woods.

Pretty nice plane.

And Calvin later gets a career as an aerospace engineer.

It would be doubly so today with so many kids stuck to their gaming systems, phones, and tablets.

Calvin, you and Hobbes can always play a game of Calvinball.

We put straight pins in the nose of our paper airplanes so they stick when they hit something. When our Mom saw us tossing them around she pitched the mother of all hissy fits

It looked like Calvin’s dad was working. I mean, who wears a long sleeved, button down shirt on a Sunday? Getting poked in the ear with paper airplane can be a bit startling, but he should have shown Calvin how too create paper airplanes other than the most rudimentary paper airplane Calvin made, and then gone outside with Calvin to enjoy a paper airplane flying frenzy! If Calvin’s dad was working, I think it’s dad who needs to spend more time outdoors :0)

And yet,many of Calvin’s greatest adventures are outside. Just him, his best friend Hobbs, and his imagination.

He could try to get Susie’s attention, but she’ll just invite him in for tea.

That’s a drawing pen, well-favored by cartoonists. It’s the closest we see in the strip to a cameo by Watterson.

I don’t get why people even have children when they never even want to spend time with them or interact with them.
