What a way to commit patricide!
will any aircraft be able to see that while flying by?
This was pre-drone. Such a loss.
Now that’s a walk worth shoveling.
clever boy, that Calvin.
Imagine seeing that from a satellite image, and being told a SIX YEAR OLD made that.
Take that, Jurassic park!
Take that, Nazca line-makers!
Mesoamericans made these drawings on the ground centuries ago, Calvin could be their descendant.
Is he channeling those saucer-worshipers from South America?
Why the crocodile shall eat up your home?
I bet Calvin could make a cool crop circle!
Well when it comes to the crunch…..
Hopefully, it doesn’t become animated. Like the snow goons.
The less you guys know, the better!
Must have been the aliens.
This would have been better without the speech balloons in the last panel, but even flawed C & H is wonderful!
Apparently, Calvin plans this art for a larger audience, or at least a higher one.
Love it! Right down to the freckles!
Airline pilots are going to get a laugh.
Calvin is such a creative kid
“Was that air turbulence?” “No, I thought I saw….you know, never mind, it was turbulence.”
Calvin’s a master!
Wow! That’s quite a grasp of spatial relationships…
Today’s strip reminds me of a Ray Bradbury story which appears in the collection called “The Golden Apples of the Sun”. One Chinese city had a circular wall. Another city built their wall in the shape of a pig’s head and claimed that the other city was an orange and their pig was going to eat the orange.
But spending 5 minutes doing his homework is too much…
He’s just keeping himself busy until crop circle season comes by
It’s a Snowgoon Rex!
perspective is everything
If that one comes alive… (ͼ_ͽ)
That’s a heckuva lot of acreage they have around the house…
This cartoonist has the most creative fun with snow……but I am starting to wonder about his childhood.
I wonder what he would bring out this covid-19 pandemic
That masterpiece can be seen only by drones. Obviously, parents are oblivious of this six year genius artist.
HOW COOL!!!! they should he happy he has a wild imagination because it kept him busy which gave them a break for a while.
it’s so sad that Calvin has a bigger brain than his parents. Like it’s obvious that food is compost and Hobbes is real.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
And now he is running away…what the heck?
And he made it with cartoon eyes on the same side of the head!
It’s the long lost snow calvinosaurus.
I love it!!!! :D
Is that a dinosaur?
Does this strip have the most followers on GoComics?
I’m sure the answer to my concern is either that this is just a cartoon, and the regular rules don’t apply, or this is art, and the image conforms to the artist’s concept or vision, but nonetheless I have always marveled that no matter how many cubic yards of snow get used in Calvin’s wonderful creations, there are never any bare patches in the yard from where the snow used to be. When I was young and lived in a land of Winter snow (Iowa, to be more precise) the more snow that was used, the more leaves and sticks and grass ended up in the finished product. It took another snowfall to cover up the bare spots and imperfections. OK, then a third answer is that Calvin only makes his creations while it is snowing in order to make reality conform to his reality. Hmm. I’d better stop now.
“Does it seem like there are more planes flying over than normal, dear?”
Flyover country, I hope.
I’m sure it has been commented on many times as I’ve been reading Calvin and Hobbes for years, but I just have to say; if Calvin were ever to grow into an adult, his imagination would make him a genius in the world of action or horror films.
That’s a lot of snow!
It’s all a matter of perspective.
You can only see what it is from the air. On the ground it would look like piles of snow in a curved line.
This has always been one of my favorites.
He sure is clever and industrious when he WANTS to be!
If they look outside, they won’t know whether to be impressed or concerned with their son.
What time did Calvin wake up, and what time is this comic set in?
Nice chunk of property you go there Mr. & Ms…we don’t know their last names do we?
It’s actually impressive.
I would just walk in the snow, not go through the effort of piling it up.
