If it was an alien invasion, you wouldn’t have woken up in your bed.
Mom and Dad working on having a new baby sister or brother for you.
Why not both?
No, it’s King bob-omb breaking in!
whew – at least no monster under the bed!
Hiding under the bed? Isn’t that where the monsters typically hide out.
The monsters under the bed jumped onto the top with fright…
A good thunder storm does sound like a reboot of “War of the Worlds”.
The past two nights here we’ve had lots of lightning. But, strangely enough, I haven’t heard any thunder. Perhaps the aliens didn’t want to disturb us.
An alien invasion? Where’s Spaceman Spiff when you need him?
look out, under the bed monsters, we’re coming in hot!
Love what happens to Hobbes’ tail at times like these!
I love Hobbes fluffed out tail
Panel two. LOL!!!!!
Pretty good instincts. Duck and cover. Though, I am thinking Hobbes has sort of left his fuzzy flank exposed.
Love the expressions in Panel 2.
I thought that there were monsters under that bed!
Panel 2 is the best one
Love this one! I usually picture the “BOOM” in the third panel being the classic “Castle Thunder” sound effect, ala Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, like here (first one)…
I like Hobbes’s fraidy tail!
Calvin would have hated living in central Florida…lightning strike capital of the world.
Hobbs’s big tail is swell, I don’t remember seeing that effect before.
It must have been really loud thunder for them to risk the monsters under the bed…
Donner and blitzen like that, soon the soothing hiss of a downpour follows (white noise).
I miss thunder and lightning.
I love how Hobbs’ tail is so fuzzed up!
Hobbes’ tail is hilarious.
love the drawing in Panels 2 & 3.
I like sleeping Hobbes!!
Just the local rock band tuning up…
Love the tail.
Our feline companion always hides under the bed when the rumbly-bumblies turn into boomers. Then, when she gets lonely, she comes out and wants somebody to have a lap blanket she can get under.
The Covenant are glassing the planet.
I thought monsters where under there
