The past two nights here we’ve had lots of lightning. But, strangely enough, I haven’t heard any thunder. Perhaps the aliens didn’t want to disturb us.

Our feline companion always hides under the bed when the rumbly-bumblies turn into boomers. Then, when she gets lonely, she comes out and wants somebody to have a lap blanket she can get under.
