Get under the sprinkler, Calvin. All the nasties will get washed away.

Having Hobbes in the pool with you Calvin and you will have fur everywhere. Of course Hobbes can say the same thing, he will have dead skin everywhere. You just can’t win.

I love the way Hobbes is wearing a bathing suit, whereas he normally runs around naked.

No skinny dipping for this Big Cat!

Hobbes must have been in a half-way decent mood…could have used those claws of his to deflate the pool!

Hobbes walks around with no clothes on most of the time, but for the pool, he has to put on trunks?

Why is everyone taking note of Hobbes’ swim trunks? He’s worn them before.

It takes all the fun out of denying something to someone when they turn out not to need it!

Looks to me like his testes haven’t dropped yet, so where does he get all his nastiness?

As soon as Calvin is romping under the sprinkler Hobbes can run for the pool and have it all to himself.

Tigers wear trunks to go in the water? And walk around fur-naked the rest of the time?

Well, there’s no accounting for custom. Victorian ladies wore evening gowns whose décolletage would have them arrested on the spot, if they dressed like that at a beach.

Nothing irritates a bully like other people having fun.

It’s terrible when your victim has fun instead of going into a sulk!

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

I guess the water is wetter where Hobbes is.

Some people can’t stand the fact that other people are having more fun than they’re having, regardless of whether or not they’re having fun. They also can’t stand it that other people have more money than them, even if they themselves are well off.

Calvin’s not happy unless someone else is un‍‍happy. Remind you of anybody in the news?
