Dad is going to take the Kodachrome away.
I would like to know what the little speck in the pictures is!
oh, the good ol’ days of pre-digital photography
Was it that ghost from Family Circus?
Maybe Dad should get the KID fixed!
Pretty slick for a six year old to know how to set the zoom and the timer to make himself look like an unidentified speck.
Calvin is a pest no matter what size.
Of course, the camera is just taking pictures on its own, right Calvin?
Dad would have FIRST wondered why his new roll of film was all used up and needed to be sent out to be developed. LOL
I had a roll of film in my 35mm camera. I got a cheap promotional camera for free and wanted to try it, so I rolled up the film in the 35mm and put it in the cheapo and wound it to the next picture on the roll. I took pictures and sent it in for development. I got a letter of apology back with the pictures. They didn’t know how they screwed up but half the roll came out badly, so they didn’t charge me and gave me a new roll of film. LOL! The cheapo was terrible, but they didn’t have any idea that I changed cameras.
Calvin doing “Antman” decades before the MCU…
As I recall setting lens to super wide angle, then running to 50ft or more away would do that. Which would take some doing in 15 sec. Seems zooming the lens to full length would do just the opposite – everything would appear much closer. But Calvin is inventive and pretty sharp. He could do it when no other kid could.
I’m surprised Calvin didn’t cast suspicions on Hobbes.
Next time dad, don’t leave the camera next to your good brief case where Calvin can find it.
Surely Watterson had big fun drawing these panels.
I wonder how Calvin cured his condition?
Honey, I shrunk the kid.
Would that constitute a fly-by?
If ant-man had his test as a child.
Thank goddess the lenses are interchangeable between film and digital camera bodies.
Well at least this time he didn’t totally pulverize the camera like he did the binoculars.
Do they even make film any more?
This is one of the very few times where it’s sort of hinted that Calvin’s imaginary experiences MAY not be 100 percent strictly imaginary, if Dad’s puzzling over “that tiny speck in the distance” is anything to go by.
