Don’t worry, Calvin. Your family is balancing out a family that watched more than 7 and half hours of tv a day.

“Yes. Any more questions?”

Did he just do math that involved fractions and time?

Because Dad watches all 7.5 hours.

“We’ll compromise. You can watch from 3:00 to 10:30, but it’s going to be all PBS.”

Lily Tomlin mused, “When we read a lot we are called well-read. If we watch a lot of TV, why aren’t we called well-viewed?”

If Calvin watches tv from 3:00 to 10:30, he would be watching tv for 7 1/2 hours! 0_0

When I was a kid, I was allocated a certain small number of hours of TV per week – and video games were judged to count the same as TV.

There was a loophole big enough to drive a Mac Truck through, though – if the TV was considered “educational”, then it didn’t count against the allocated hours.

I watched a LOT of PBS – since everything that PBS showed was considered educational.

Now Calvin put that much effort in your school work homework assignments.

Times sure have changed, now it’s mostly electronics

Now that I have my tablet, I don’t watch TV very often. I couldn’t be one of those people who have it on all day for “company”

That’s just wasteful but we’re all different.
