There are other jobs you know.

Growing up in Florida, we took water and swimming for granted. I’ve always lived near water until recently…. There is precious little water near Reno. Not much rain either.

In Europe you don’t have to do that to go to college Rosalyn.

Ironically, I had to quit my college swim team to find a job to pay for college.

Might be less scary if she’d just call it, “The Feather Float”.

Good teaching. Let’s make them have self-reliance.

Calvin is going to have difficulty with the deadman’s float, because he has difficulty keeping his mouth shut…

If this was now, no way these jobs would pay for college.

The deadman’s float DOES sound kinda ominous.

Calvin go to college?! No worries there. No college means no need for a pool job, which means no need to put up with Calvin (well, all day at least).

In the UK you have to pay for college when you’re over 19. I left at that age. I was advised to stay there while it was free.In case anybody judges me, I was scared in case it would have been all for nothing had I started paying. I didn’t want to waste money.Back to the strip. Is that Susie in the middle?xxx

I am responding to the architect of disaster aka Leading Edge because the site won’t let me use the “Reply” link. Perhaps GoComics has developed long distance telepathy and senses that I am about to unleash a torrent of verbal abuse. “Bottom-line, it’s not free, though it may seem so at first.” Nobody said it was. I went to a community college and two universities that were/are taxpayer supported, as did you.
