He had better specialize in curbs, he’s not tall enough for anything else.

I thought most of America had hazy sun, dirty air, polluted water, libraries with cut budgets for books and reduced hours, and schools that ranked low in the civilized world.

The librarian knows that Calvin is up to no good. S/he can see the handwriting on the wall.Perhaps it is the same librarian who has dealt with Calvin previously:Click here: Calvin and Hobbes (March 27, 1992)Sometimes, it is the librarians who are up to no good:Click here: Pearls Before Swine (January 15, 2009)Graffiti has been a problem from the beginning of time:Click here: B.C. Yes, in the same way that parents have the right to decide between right and wrong books or movies…because they pay for them.

Unfortunately, they do. They also tend to impose their personal taste too.

I wonder if they would have found Calvin a book on graffiti if he hadn’t added the dirty words and slogans part…

Often the graffiti on trains is very hard to understand when they are going down the tracks. The trains are moving to fast. Sometimes I can make out a few letters before it’s gone but mostly this American Graffit looks to be a foreign language.

Some train car graffiti looks quite good. People spend a lot of time on it, and some are obviously very talented artists. I’m not sure when they get a chance to spend that much time without getting caught.
