That sounds like a typical day at work for me (minus the throwing up part!).
Lets have some fun Must find Hobbes then go look for Susie.
looking up is best!
The upshot is that that is uplifting.
Going up, drive up, close up, hard up, look up, straight up, dummy up, aw heck I give up!
Similar to the life of an Engineering student :D
ha ha ha
Pretty much looks like my work-day!
The problem with looking up, is it never stays that way.
It’s all about growin’ up, Calvin
My day doesn’t look up when I get home! I have homework!
24x3___=18Clearly. Prove me wrong.
Wonder what was for lunch….?
What does “up” mean? “Of” is one of the longest definitions in the dictionary. Prepositions are versatile. They don’t translate well although taken as a group have a similar function across languages. In some languages they are positioned after the noun, & are called POSTpositions.
I used to be like that in school too (5th Panel)
so true!!! finally his day is up!!
shock, or knock, or lock you up.
Anyone else hearing Bob Marley?
The upshot is that Calvin’s day is on the upswing.
That was elementary school for me.
Steal Suzie’s lunch and the “throwing up” part might be avoided….
7 + 5 = 100,000? He has a future as a government economist.
Home, home again . . . Nowhere to go but UP from there!
Yah! I have read a lot of Calvin and hobbes and math is , and never will be Calvin’s thang! :)
I know how you feel! : )
Story of my life.
That’s LIFE calvin!!!!
Don’t give up, Calvin – and don’t ever grow up!
Don’t grow up Calvin. It’s very over rated.
^ I know the feeling. I had similar problems. But then I was usually off in my own world anyway, so it wasn’t so handicapped. :)
If Hobbes is nearby when he gets home, Calvin will be flying up!
Who said it first? Seinfeld or Calvin?
