Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for July 16, 1988
Dad: Calvin, I'd like you to pick up all the sticks and fallen branches in the yard, so I can mow it. Calvin: Will you pay me? Dad: Well...Ok, I'll pay you a dollar. Calvin: A dollar? I won't do it for less than twenty-five!! Dad: In a minute you'll do it for nothing just because I told you to. Calvin: ...I'll take the dollar. Dad: Smart kid.
