Oh, and “Weird parents”?
Insanity is inherited: you get it from your kids.
But I suspect in this case they were at least somewhat weird before Calvin came along.

I can imagine Mom laughingly saying “Dear! I would not!” while creaming Dad. Nice to hear that Calvin’s parents have a playful side.
